Nibbana In Theravada Perspective is analytical text and a critical study of the concept of Nibbana, maybe better known as the Buddhist concept of Nirvana. Nirvana literally means ?blowing out? ? referring, in the Buddhist context, to the blowing out of the fires of greed, hatred, and delusion. The Theravada, and other Buddhist traditions, does not view the Nirvana solely as a state or place outside the world but a state that can be attained here and now
